Catering Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic General Catering Assistant to join our team at Hemingford Grey Primary School. As a key member of our catering team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality food services to students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook basic meals and snacks
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining area
- Maintain health and safety standards in the kitchen
- Provide excellent customer service to students and staff
- Operate basic IT systems for food service and inventory management
- Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Food hygiene level 2 certification (training will be provided)
- Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
- Exceptional timekeeping and reliability
