We are seeking a talented Solicitor/Associate to join our Private Clients team in Leeds, focusing on acting for rural clients and providing advice on heritage property, capital tax planning, and structuring for succession and tax efficiency.
As a key member of our team, you will manage your own varied caseload, advising trustees of high-value private family trusts on matters of trust law and governance, taxation, and trust restructuring. You will also assist more senior members of the team with complex cases and attend networking and business development events to strengthen client relationships and your overall knowledge.
Your Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of private client matters, including trusts, estate planning, and administration;
- Advise trustees on trust law and governance, taxation, and trust restructuring;
- Assist more senior members of the team with complex cases;

- Contribute to the growth and development of the Private Clients team.
- Demonstrable technical experience in Private Clients, specifically trusts, estate planning, and administration;
- Ability to manage caseloads while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and seamless service;
- Demonstrable experience of excellent oral and written communication skills, including producing quality drafting and undertaking in-depth research;
- Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for clients;
- Aptitude for business development and a passion for growing strong client and referrer relationships.
