About the Role

Nuvonic is a leading provider of chemical-free disinfection solutions, and we're seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplined engineering team. As an Electrical Engineer at Nuvonic, you will play a key role in driving the electrical design of our customer-focused products, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical solutions for UV-Reactors, panels, components, and production issues quickly and safely.
  • Create and maintain E-Plan CAD drawings for components and assemblies.
  • Ensure compliance of our products with CE, UKCA, UL, and other relevant regulations.
  • Share innovative ideas and new concepts to solve design challenges.
  • Continuously challenge the way we work and proactively seek opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure technical standards are maintained by applying industry best practice throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Manage and update ERP data to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine root cause and establish a solution.
  • Support the operations team to ensure delivery of product on time and to spec.
  • Vet customer specifications and provide feedback to the commercial team.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant qualification, preferably a good degree, or suitable experience, with excellent demonstrable technical knowledge.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement.
  • Product-minded and focused on building high-quality products.
  • Understands technical drawings and Design for Manufacture.
  • Analytical, inquisitive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter with a can-do attitude and ability to adapt to change.
  • Pro-active and results-driven.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-disciplinary design, development, and production environment.
  • Proficient with E-Plan.
  • UL Standards such as UL508A.
  • Experience with test automation (either during design or for production).
  • Good understanding of water/process engineering and/or expert in controls for UV systems.
  • Experience with Inventor and CAD automation.
