SEND Teacher Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join our inclusive and supportive primary school in Brierley Hill, Dudley.

This full-time role focuses on working within our SEMH Provision, supporting pupils with a range of SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, preparation, and assessment.
  • Support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting their emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Actively participate in Parents Evenings and any additional meetings or responsibilities as directed by the Headteacher.
  • Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement strategies that support SEND pupils.
  • Maintain strong communication with parents, carers, and outside agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for pupils.
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Teacher Reference Number (TRN).
  • Ideally, has completed their induction year and can demonstrate significant experience working with SEND pupils, particularly those with SEMH needs.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to inclusive education and has a strong understanding of the specific needs of pupils with SEMH.
  • Able to work full-time and take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a flexible and proactive attitude.
