Job Title: Engineering Manager - Operations Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our team of engineers in a fast-paced FMCG environment. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of 8 engineers, planning maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead a team of 8 engineers, including multi-skilled, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
  • Maintenance Planning: Plan and coordinate maintenance activities using Automa, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production levels.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractors and ensure they adhere to health and safety protocols, including PPE.
  • Procurement: Source and procure spare parts and materials as needed.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and improve engineer performance, set KPIs, and conduct regular appraisals and disciplinary actions.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with the operations team to support projects and investments within the company.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a FMCG environment, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of FMCG production processes.
