Michael Page International Canada Limited is seeking an experienced Project Director to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining a high level of health and safety practices on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project portfolios, coordinating with site supervision to ensure smooth project execution
- Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet client expectations
- Oversee project budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Strong organizational, leadership, and technical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Post-secondary education in a related field, such as engineering or construction management
- PMP designation or equivalent certification
