Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Assistant to join our finance team at Page Personnel Finance. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounting and finance department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including ledgers and reconciliations.
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly financial reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in accounting or a related field, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting software and systems, including MS Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
