Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Adult Stoma Care Nurses Team at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Band 6 Specialist Registered General Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality stoma care services to patients across our campuses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing interventions to achieve and maintain the highest standards of stoma care within the hospital and outpatient setting.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients with stomas.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of stoma care policies and procedures.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in stoma care.
Requirements:
- First-level registered nurse with evidence of post-registration experience and professional development.
- Relevant specialist knowledge and skills in stoma care and colorectal pathway.
- Ability to be flexible and organized in the workplace with a passion for delivering high-quality and successful services.
- Commitment to working as part of a growing team to achieve shared goals and objectives.
