Dispensary Manager Role

As Dispensary Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dispensary. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of medication dispensing, from prescription processing to stock management. Your leadership skills will be essential in guiding and motivating our dispensary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispensing Operations: Oversee all dispensing activities within the practice, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This includes checking colleagues' work, processing prescriptions, and managing prescription charges.
  • Stock Management: Maintain optimal stock levels of medications, minimizing wastage and expenditure. Implement effective ordering procedures and ensure proper storage conditions for all pharmaceuticals.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to dispensary staff. Conduct appraisals, manage rotas, and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict quality control measures and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, GPs, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related matters.
Qualifications & Experience

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced individual with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical practices. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
