Job Description

Job Title: Waste Management Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Waste Management Driver to join our team at Veolia. As a Waste Management Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 1 vehicle to collect and transport waste and recyclables to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle to collect and transport waste and recyclables to our facilities
  • Ensure the health and safety of all members of the public, visitors, staff, and contractors at the site
  • Ensure that materials on site are recycled as much as possible
  • Assist the public, provide information, guidance, and help to carry their waste and recycling when required and if safe to do so
  • Attend any training deemed necessary for the role

Requirements:

  • Cat C+E (Class 1 licence)
  • Driver CPC
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the general public
  • Desirable: experience as a recycling operative
