Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Design Engineer to join our team at Experis - ManpowerGroup. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating innovative designs that meet challenging user and performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create innovative designs that fulfill user and performance requirements, and ensure designs meet requirements via prototyping/testing and certification.
  • Technical Leadership: Proactively drive the development of targeted work items, and use your experience to guide designs at all stages, from concept to release to manufacture.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work alongside colleagues with many years' experience in product development, and interface with other teams to support company activities.
  • Problem-Solving and Risk Management: Identify, communicate, and propose solutions for technical issues and risks, and ensure designs comply with international standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Develop your knowledge of products, general practice, and procedural areas, and mentor junior members.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
  • Experience: Experience in Electrical/Electronic engineering, with knowledge of more than one PCB CAD design packages for high-tech product designs, and experience in designing for EMC and taking products through compliance.
  • Skills: Circuit modelling and simulation, SPICE, WEBENCH, mixed analogue, digital, and power electronic design experience for embedded systems, hands-on prototyping, testing, and fault finding to component level, and experience with hazardous voltages and safe working practices.
