Senior Designer - Handbag Design Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Designer to join our dynamic handbag design team at TEXMODEL LIMITED. As a trend-driven and fast-paced design office, we design and supply to major High Street retailers, working closely with our clients to produce high-quality handbags, make-up bags, men's bags, SLGs, and licensed products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement commercial designs based on the latest trends and client requirements.
  • Conduct market research and create trend presentations, focusing on key looks and emerging styles.
  • Translate CAD designs into specifications that result in exceptional product samples.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, attending regular meetings and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and travel for meetings and research trips.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in handbag design.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Passionate about fashion and design, with a keen eye for emerging trends and styles.
  • Excellent drawing skills and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Ability to create commercial designs that meet client requirements and expectations.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary dependent on experience. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with opportunities for growth and development.
