**The Role**

  • **Servicing and Installing Burners**: Perform routine maintenance and installation of burners to ensure optimal boiler performance.
  • **Planned Preventative Maintenance**: Conduct regular maintenance checks to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth boiler operation.
  • **Fault Finding and Breakdowns**: Troubleshoot and repair boiler systems to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • **Documenting and Reporting Problems**: Accurately document and report any issues or problems encountered during maintenance or repair work.
  • **Maintenance-Oriented Jobs**: Perform various maintenance tasks within a boiler house environment, including electrical and mechanical work.

**The Person**

  • **Experience and Qualifications**: Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, with a strong background in maintenance and electrical work.
  • **Gas Safe Registration**: Must be Gas Safe registered to perform gas-related work.
  • **Boiler Repair and Maintenance Experience**: Proven experience in carrying out boiler repairs and maintenance.
  • **Customer-Facing Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • **Initiative and Autonomy**: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving skills.
