Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and customer-focused Booking Specialist to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be essential in managing reservations with precision, ensuring that every guest enjoys a seamless booking experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing guest bookings through various channels, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving reservation issues.
  • Keeping informed about room rates, promotional offers, and hotel amenities.
  • Accurately entering reservations into the system and communicating special requests to relevant departments.
  • Overseeing room availability and optimizing occupancy levels.
  • Handling cancellations, modifications, and no-show policies in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote room upgrades and additional services during the booking process.
  • Compiling daily and monthly reports on reservations for management review.
  • Following up with guests to confirm their bookings and provide necessary information.
  • Continuously enhancing knowledge of hotel offerings, local attractions, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a booking or reservations role, preferably within luxury accommodations.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Familiarity with reservation systems, such as Opera, is advantageous.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
