Senior API Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior API Developer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. as a DDAT-SEO-Developer on a 6.5-month contract, with a high likelihood of extension.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Take a leading role in defining and developing work activities that facilitate the continuous improvement and development of the APIM capability.
  • Responsible for all low-level design aspects of the chosen technical solution, in line with agreed constraints of time, cost, and quality.
  • Collaborate with the Senior DevOps Engineer (Tech Lead), Product Manager, and Service Owner to advise on the best approach to maintain operations, considering factors such as running costs.
  • Work with the Lead Technical Architect to maintain an acceptable level of supportability and complexity, identifying and managing risks and technical debt.
  • Responsible for design and code reviews, delegating where possible to aid team development.

**Requirements:**

  • Highly proficient in Java development and proficient in Python development.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of using Amazon AWS services, including Lambda, EC2, VPC (networking), and experience with the AWS Code Pipeline.
  • Experience of working in a live service using DevOps and Agile processes.
