About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support our small pub group in Hampshire. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and supervising staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Contribute to menu planning and development, ensuring innovative and manageable options for our small kitchen
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve excellent service standards
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate, paid for every hour worked, and the opportunity to work with a long-standing client with potential for additional work at their other sites. Accommodation is provided, but you will need to have your own transportation to get to and from site each day.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 40 hours of work per week, with potential for overtime. You will also need to be able to think creatively and work well under pressure.
