Job Title: Workshop Powered Access Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Powered Access Engineer to join our client's team in Bedford. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background and experience with powered access equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing, repairing, and maintaining electrically powered access equipment, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts.
  • Performing LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant.
  • Keeping service records up to date.
  • Adhering to workshop health & safety rules and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • CAP qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Strong electrical background in powered access or plant industry.
  • Ability to work well as a team and alone.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills.
  • Commutable distance of Bedford.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of £32,000-£50,000 dependant on experience.
  • 40 hour working week with flexibility on hours.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holiday.
  • Pension.
