Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced technical manager to lead the development and delivery of the Food Safety & Quality culture across our business. As a trusted advisor, you will serve as a key member of our Leadership team, providing expertise on all Food Safety, quality, and technical matters related to our Cluster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Food Safety & Quality policies and procedures across our multi-site manufacturing environment.
- Lead the development and delivery of technical teams, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to meet our business objectives.
- Collaborate with our Leadership team to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance and support to our production teams, ensuring compliance with HACCP, BRC, and other food safety management systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
Requirements:
- Proven senior leadership experience in a technical management role within the chilled food industry for 5+ years.
- MSc in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of HACCP (Level 4 minimum), BRC, and other food safety management systems including customer (retailer) standards.
- Experience within chilled food production and ability to relate to planned operational processes.
What We Offer:
Salary – circa £110k + car allowance + benefits.
