About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate to join our team at the Wellcome Sanger Institute. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for performing advanced research and development activities in the field of human-induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPS cells).

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute complex experimental protocols to optimize the production of organoids from hiPS cells.
  • Develop and implement new methods for growing hiPS cells and optimizing organoid production.
  • Collaborate with lead scientists to establish research targets and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Organize and conduct daily laboratory work to set up in vitro organoid models from hiPS cells.
  • Work independently to perform complex experimental work and meet established research targets.
About You

We are looking for a highly adaptable and accurate individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You should have a strong background in molecular biology and experience working with hiPS cells. A particular interest in hematopoietic development is essential.
