Customer Service and Bakery Assistant Opportunity

Join our team as a Customer Service and Bakery Assistant at AF Blakemore & Son Ltd, a leading retail and food service company.

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and friendly individual to join our team as a Customer Service and Bakery Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with the preparation and presentation of our bakery products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Bakery Assistance: Assist with the preparation and presentation of our bakery products, including preparing hot and cold food items, managing ovens, and re-stocking sandwiches.
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with our team to achieve sales and profit targets, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our store and staff.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role and/or industry is preferred.
• Food Safety and Hygiene: Some understanding of health and food safety legislative responsibilities in a food environment.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to contribute ideas for delivering exceptional customer service and driving the business forward.
