Site Services Technician

Job Summary:

Ethero is seeking a skilled Site Services Technician to join our team in the UK. As a Site Services Technician, you will be responsible for conducting routine checks of plant water, operating cooling towers, and performing general maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine checks of plant water on an hourly/daily/weekly basis to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operate cooling towers, including sampling, replenishment of chemicals, and using escalation procedures in the event of a failure.
  • Perform general maintenance and DIY tasks as needed around the facility, including maintaining site trailers to ensure they are roadworthy.
  • Complete Preventive Maintenance Programs (PPMs) to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Complete all necessary administration accurately and on time, including recording observations and data.
  • Work independently, at height, and use manual handling equipment to conduct sampling.
  • Operate a tractor and trailer unit as needed to transport equipment and materials around the site.

Requirements:

  • Possess site maintenance and DIY skills, including experience with manual handling equipment and working at height.
  • Be able to operate a tractor and trailer unit with confidence and a valid license.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to observe and record accurately.
  • Be a good communicator and team player, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Ideally have experience working in a similar environment and be aware of legionella protocols and procedures.
