Job Summary:

As a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will provide technical support for subsea equipment projects, acting as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, and project managers to ensure that the commissioned equipment meets project specifications and quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that machines and associated equipment have been correctly manufactured and meet project specifications.
  2. Diagnose and fix faults in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  3. Plan and execute commissioning activities within company manufacturing facilities.
  4. Ensure that test paperwork is correctly completed and accurate.
  5. Perform functional testing of equipment to ensure it meets quality standards.

Requirements:

  1. Working knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems.
  2. HNC in electrical or mechanical discipline.
  3. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a reactive maintenance role.
  4. Knowledge of subsea equipment is desirable.
