Job Description

Job Title: Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager to join our team at Verto People. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating primarily on the M62 corridor of the UK, selling and managing key accounts within the Hydraulic sector via distribution channels and end users / OEM channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development selling various Hydraulic related products including pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes and related Hydraulic products.
  • Maintaining Hydraulic sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Working remotely covering the likes of Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Hull
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within Engineering.
  • Experience selling or servicing Hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, hoses, valves, cylinders, power packs, gearboxes or similar Fluid Power products.
  • Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable engineering Distributor.
  • A technical Engineering Degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites across the M62 corridor of the UK.
