We are seeking an experienced Credit Control Supervisor to join our team, focusing on maintaining optimal cash flow and minimizing credit exposure.
The Credit Control Supervisor will manage the credit control operations, leading a team of four responsible for credit evaluations, collections, and ensuring prompt payments.
This role is office-based, operating Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Team Leadership:
Guide, mentor, and enhance the performance of the credit control team, establishing clear goals and performance metrics.
Conduct regular team discussions to assess performance, address challenges, and implement strategies for improvement.
Credit Oversight:
Supervise the evaluation and authorization of new credit requests and determine suitable credit limits.
Track customer accounts to identify overdue payments and take proactive steps to reduce aged debt.
Formulate and enforce credit policies and procedures to mitigate risks and improve cash flow.
Collections Management:
Oversee the collections process, ensuring effective and timely communication with clients regarding outstanding invoices.
Reporting and Insights:
Generate and present regular reports on credit control performance, including aged debt assessments and cash flow projections.
Identify trends and areas for enhancement, proposing strategies to optimize credit control processes and decrease DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
Monitor key performance indicators and implement action plans to meet objectives.
Compliance and Risk Oversight:
Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal obligations related to credit management.
Manage and maintain customer credit documentation, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
Conduct regular evaluations of credit control processes and systems to identify and mitigate potential risks.
Qualifications:
Significant experience in credit control, with a minimum of two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
Strong grasp of credit management principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
