About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manager to join our Power & Utilities Transactions team in KPMG Deal Advisory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic and financial advice on large and complex transactions, leveraging the specialist skills across the P&U team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice on transactions and contribute to originating transaction-related advisory mandates in the P&U sector
  • Work closely with colleagues in other parts of KPMG Deal Advisory to develop and maintain business relationships with investors
  • Build a strong external and internal network to promote our services and the value provided
  • Contribute to ensuring that KPMG's quality and risk management procedures are completed to the appropriate standard
  • Coach and mentor junior members of the team
Requirements
  • Experience of working on transactions in utilities and infrastructure, either with an M&A or a Consulting background
  • Detailed understanding of transaction process and execution
  • Good knowledge of utilities and energy sectors in the UK (key market segments) and ability to identify and analyse key value drivers on a particular transaction in the Power & Utilities market
  • Ability to carry out financial analysis on transactions including different valuation methods
  • Ability to work at pace and during intense periods of live transactions
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
