Vetro Recruitment is seeking a passionate and skilled individual to take on the role of Lead Support Practitioner for Children within a specialized residential service.

Position: Lead Support Practitioner for Children

Compensation: £31,472 - £33,177 (including sleep allowance)

Work Location: Somerset

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift Schedule: 2 days on, 4 days off

Employment Type: Permanent

This residential service is dedicated to delivering personalized care for young individuals who have experienced significant trauma, aiming to support them in reaching their aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist young individuals in daily routines and promote self-sufficiency
  • Oversee staff teams and financial resources

  • Ensure the safety and welfare of young individuals

Essential Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in managing challenging behaviors
  • Level 3 NVQ in Children & Young People or equivalent qualification
  • Valid UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Understanding of Children Homes Regulations and Safeguarding practices
