Mobile Electrical Engineer Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our facilities management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical remedial works, delivering quoted tasks, and completing installation and project work as required.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties in Hertfordshire and Cambridge. As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a team of 15 engineers, working collaboratively to ensure efficient service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conducting electrical remedial works and delivering quoted tasks
  2. Completing installation and project work as required
  3. Responding to reactive maintenance needs and ensuring timely completion
Requirements:
  1. Full UK driving license
  2. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  3. 18th Edition qualified (preferred)
  4. Strong understanding of electrical systems, maintenance, and repairs
Benefits:
  1. Competitive salary of £42,000
  2. Fuel card, company van (with personal use), and tools provided
  3. Generous holiday allowance: 25 days plus bank holidays
  4. Call-out rota: 1 in 4 weeks, with a standby fee of £100
  5. Overtime pay: 1.5X after 5pm and on Saturdays (first 4 hours), 2X thereafter
