We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Processing Supervisor to join our team at Be Personnel Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising processing operations within our site, ensuring the continuation of producing a high-quality packed product. This is a back-shift position, and the successful candidate will work variable hours depending on when the fish arrive on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise staff and product within the processing site.
  • Handle and generate processing paperwork and keep administrative records.
  • Ensure compliance with company health and safety and legal policies.
  • Ensure operational performance through efficient and effective use of plant and people resources while maintaining Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
  • Organize workload of staff members to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Take on responsibilities of the processing manager in their absence.
  • Supervise a team of circa 60 employees.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in processing operations and management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work variable hours and weekends on a rota basis.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
