Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Excellence: Maintain and continuously improve our Goods Inwards Inspection process, ensuring seamless integration with our supply chain management.
  • Ensure Precision: Perform first-off validations against drawings and test specifications for new or modified parts, guaranteeing accuracy and reliability.
  • Accurate Reporting: Create clear and concise IDR and Supplier Investigation Reports (SIR) to keep stakeholders informed and up-to-date.
  • Manage Samples: Maintain and store 1st off Golden samples efficiently, ensuring easy access and reference.
  • Investigate & Resolve: Prepare and manage SIRs for non-conforming parts, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruptions.
  • Collaborate Effectively: Work with purchasing and supply chain teams to agree on product dispositions and provide insights on non-conforming products, driving continuous improvement.
  • Optimise Inspections: Determine and drive inspection requirements back to suppliers, minimizing workload and ensuring compliance.
  • Quality Control: Track and analyze inspection items using D365 to reduce non-conformances and improve overall quality.
  • Process Management: Refine and optimize DDM Supplier Quality processes and Material Control Document workflows, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Conformity Checks: Ensure new parts meet design specifications and are automation-ready, guaranteeing seamless integration with our production processes.
  • Audit Support: Participate in supplier component audits as per schedule, ensuring compliance and quality standards.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee programming and calibration of measuring equipment, ensuring up-to-date software and proper labeling.
  • Continuous Improvement: Leverage D365 for process improvements and ensure transactions are clear, accurate, and timely, driving continuous growth and development.
