Fawkes and Reece are assisting a national developer in their search for a Design Manager. The role involves working on the construction of an extension of a MOJ Project, requiring a 5-day workweek with 2 days on-site. This is a temporary assignment with potential for a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities- Uphold company values and promote the company as an all-round organization.
- Perform the role of a company representative.
- Identify and collate technical requirements during tender and project start-up phases.
- Produce design scope definition documents and Design Responsibilities Matrices.
- Liaise with designers to agree on resources, design programs, deliverables, and milestones.
- Manage tender-stage design production.
- Experience within the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).
- Proven experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Manager.
- Demonstrable history of adding significant value.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in construction, design, and coordination.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Fawkes and Reece are working with a national developer, a construction company founded 8 years ago with over 150 employees. They work with various sectors and have built over 20 million homes, specializing in brownfield regeneration.
What We Offer- A day rate payment.
