Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with national, European, and international regulations, as well as company standards related to substances and materials.
  2. Work cross-functionally across R&D, Manufacturing, After-sales, and more, supporting Parts Design, Vehicle Development, and Materials Testing/Validation.
  3. Monitor and control compliance with regulations such as POP, REACH, CLP, ELV, RRR, and more.
  4. Test materials, parts, and vehicles for emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to control vehicle interior air quality.
  5. Present vehicle compliance status reports to senior management, aligning with vehicle development milestones.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of International Material Data System (IMDS) and iPoint Software.
  2. Degree in chemistry/materials science or equivalent, with extensive industry experience.
  3. Proven experience in compliance or regulatory activities, preferably related to substances and materials.
  4. Ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects, with a proactive and energetic personality.

Location:

This position is based in Cranfield, offering a vibrant workplace environment with the opportunity for occasional international travel. This role requires being on site at least 3 days a week and can be as many as 5 days a week depending on business needs.
