Materials Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with national, European, and international regulations, as well as company standards related to substances and materials.
- Work cross-functionally across R&D, Manufacturing, After-sales, and more, supporting Parts Design, Vehicle Development, and Materials Testing/Validation.
- Monitor and control compliance with regulations such as POP, REACH, CLP, ELV, RRR, and more.
- Test materials, parts, and vehicles for emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to control vehicle interior air quality.
- Present vehicle compliance status reports to senior management, aligning with vehicle development milestones.
- Knowledge of International Material Data System (IMDS) and iPoint Software.
- Degree in chemistry/materials science or equivalent, with extensive industry experience.
- Proven experience in compliance or regulatory activities, preferably related to substances and materials.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple projects, with a proactive and energetic personality.

Location:This position is based in Cranfield, offering a vibrant workplace environment with the opportunity for occasional international travel. This role requires being on site at least 3 days a week and can be as many as 5 days a week depending on business needs.
