About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated Crisis Nurses to provide immediate mental health support and intervention to individuals experiencing a crisis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in crisis to identify their needs and develop effective intervention plans.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization techniques to help individuals manage their symptoms and regain control of their lives.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor their effectiveness to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop crisis management plans that address the unique needs of each individual.
  • Offer emotional support and counseling to individuals and their families to help them cope with the crisis and rebuild their lives.
  • Facilitate referrals to appropriate mental health services and resources to ensure individuals receive the support they need to recover.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and progress to track the effectiveness of the crisis management plans.

Requirements:

  • Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience in mental health crisis intervention
  • Excellent assessment and crisis management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Empathy and compassion for individuals in crisis
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
