We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Services Engineer to join our team at Nuffield Health. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of our Hertford Fitness & Wellbeing Centre.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of all building services, including electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all facilities, including swimming pools, mechanical plant, and air conditioning systems.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including COSHH and risk assessments.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations Manager to prioritize health and safety management and ensure policies and procedures are in place.
- Pool Maintenance: Perform regular pool and spa testing, and complete fabric-based tasks as required.
- Chemical Management: Receive and store pool chemicals safely and correctly.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive working relationship with all staff.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a maintenance facility role, preferably in a large industrial unit.
- Qualifications: Electrical qualification (to 17th edition or equivalent), and a good knowledge of Building Management systems.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and prioritize, excellent customer service and organization skills, and a team player committed to providing a service ethos.
