Procurement Category Manager

At Glentzestech, we are seeking a highly skilled Flexible Resourcing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will play a crucial role in implementing controls and governance frameworks in the professional services procurement category.

• Develop and implement a robust governance framework to ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
• Lead a team of procurement specialists and collaborate with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Establish and maintain strong partnerships with HR to ensure sourcing policies and government matters are aligned.
• Support the Procurement Head in defining category strategy and implementing next steps with business stakeholders.
• Manage contracts by working with Legal and business to draft and execute contracts with suppliers.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contract risks and advocate for their interests.
• Maintain a strong preferred supplier list and review performance monthly.
• Ensure policies and processes comply with Procurement regulations and support continuous development and improvement.
• Establish procedures to comply with internal policies and statutory requirements.
• Support risk management through KPI risk register and quarterly reviews.

Requirements:

• High level of commitment, enthusiasm, and interest in risk assessment in business.
• Ability to work iteratively to produce high-quality documents with minimal rework.
