Role: AWS Cloud Data Platform Solution Architect

Job Type: Fixed-term Contract

Location: Hybrid

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Platform Solution Architect to join our team at Tata Consultancy Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive data platforms that meet the functional and non-functional requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
  • Identify and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and redesigning infrastructure for greater scalability.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using SQL and AWS data platform technologies.
  • Ensure data security and integrity across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions.
  • Experience with AWS data platform technologies, including AWS-EMR Cluster Platform, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Redshift, Sagemaker, Lake formation, and Glue catalogue.
  • Hands-on experience in data security areas in AWS, including IAM, Cloudwatch, Cloudtrail, and Inspector.
  • Design system architecture to integrate easily with other AWS services.
  • Experience in managing the full life cycle of a data platform solution in AWS.
  • Lead AWS cloud design and development, testing, and deployment of proposed solutions.
  • Expertise in setting up and administering AWS data platform, including security areas, and working knowledge of tools like Hive and Pyspark.
  • Insurance domain knowledge, specifically in Pensions & Annuity.
  • Understanding of data platform solutions, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
  • AWS solution architect certifications.
