Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the future SATCOM system architecture (To-Be) within the program's repository.
  • Support the transition from current (As-Is) to future (To-Be) architecture, guiding the architecture roadmap.
  • Provide technical architecture expertise for the SATCOM system, including integration with Defence Digital Architecture and End-to-End Enterprise Architecture.
  • Ensure rigorous configuration control and documentation across the system's lifecycle.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A background in Systems Engineering, with a focus on systems analysis and architecture management for complex systems.
  • Extensive experience managing architecture baselines and controlling system interfaces.
  • Expertise in Satellite Communication Systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in public sector procurement, ideally with familiarity with the Defence Operating Model.
