About the Role
We're seeking a talented Workday Specialist to join our growing People Technology Team in London. This dynamic role will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our People Tools tech stack, ensuring smooth operations and driving efficiency across HR processes.
Your Mission:
- Provide expert support for stakeholders through our ticketing system, resolving queries promptly and effectively.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop innovative technical solutions leveraging People systems and technology.
- Support HR System upgrades and enhancements, encompassing all stages from design and documentation to testing, implementation, and support model development.
- Collaborate closely with functional leaders and subject matter experts within the People team to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, ensure compliance, and deliver a positive experience for employees, managers, and business leaders.
- Continuously review business processes to maximize system feature utilization and identify opportunities for tool enhancements.
- Build custom reports and extract data to provide valuable insights and support decision-making.
- Provide guidance and training to the People team on best practices for utilizing People tools effectively.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by troubleshooting complex issues, investigating and resolving errors efficiently.
- Maintain security requirements and policies for user access to People applications, ensuring data confidentiality.
About You:
You possess a strong background in HRIS (Workday) configuration, administration, and core HCM. Your expertise extends to Workday HCM modules such as compensation, rewards, talent, and performance. You are adept at communicating with diverse stakeholders across all levels of a global organization.
- Prior experience with People systems, including hands-on implementation experience with Workday HCM, is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Workday HCM, one other certification/area of expertise is required and an additional is preferred.
- Experience with other People tools (e.g., Peakon, Absorb Learning, Smart Recruiters, Cronofy, Visier, Ravio, Confluence, Jira) is a plus.
- You have played a role in end-to-end system implementations.
- Your analytical mindset and data proficiency enable you to solve problems effectively and leverage data for informed decision-making.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments, adapting your approach as needed and managing a diverse workload efficiently.
- You are an exceptional communicator, building strong relationships across teams.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical information into clear and concise language for various audiences.
- You demonstrate a commitment to security and confidentiality in all your work.
- You are proactive in seeking insights and answers, always looking for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
