About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wedding Sales Associate to join our sales and events team at a luxurious hotel in Derry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving corporate events and wedding business opportunities, while developing strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Develop existing and new business through various channels, including targeting corporate clients and wedding planners.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize online platforms, industry associations, and social networks to identify leads and opportunities.
  • Event Planning: Arrange site visits and initial consultations to showcase our hotel's capabilities and amenities.
  • Proposal and Quotation: Prepare event proposals and quotations to present to clients.
  • Trade Shows and Exhibitions: Attend trade shows and exhibitions to promote our hotel's services and build relationships with potential clients.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree or qualification in hospitality, events, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in sales and business development within the hospitality and events industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
