SRG is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team, supporting a leading health and wellness organization.
The ideal candidate will be part of a proactive and high-achieving group, delivering Quality Assurance and stability evaluation services across a range of health and wellness initiatives.
Collaboration with Research and Development will be key, as the role will primarily involve the collection, examination, and documentation of Quality Control data in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), utilizing analytical methodologies such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and various other instrumental and wet chemistry techniques.
Additionally, you will have the chance to engage in stability assessments, method development, validation, and transfer, as well as Quality Control/Quality Assurance processes including deviations, laboratory investigations, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and audit support.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct sample and batch analyses using HPLC and other instruments, adhering to established protocols
- Manage the ordering, receiving, preparation, and labeling of samples in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Analyze, document, and report trends in results
- Contribute to the development of protocols for Quality Control and stability studies
- Identify and escalate any out-of-specification or unexpected results
- Proactively recognize issues and implement appropriate solutions
- Ensure adherence to all relevant Health and Safety regulations and standards
- Execute tasks in compliance with regulatory, statutory, or client-defined standards and requirements
- Follow all applicable Quality Management Systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring timely documentation of laboratory data
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to compliance, Health and Safety, and audit preparedness
- Meet or exceed defined project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and individual objectives
- Engage actively in training and performance evaluation processes
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field such as Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Biological Sciences, or equivalent professional experience
- Prior hands-on experience with analytical testing methods such as HPLC in a Healthcare, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or Medical Device environment is preferred
- Results-driven, self-motivated, with the ability to assess and manage risks effectively
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and build relationships
- Capacity to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and delivery
