Apprentice Commercial Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, an International Tier 1 contractor, on one of the largest infrastructure projects in the country.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Tier 1 contractors on large infrastructure projects/packages in excess of £30 million and will have experience working on NEC contracts. A strong background in earthworks is essential, but not necessarily a requirement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out tasks independently, including leading a small group of commercial staff, and will be required to prepare and agree variation accounts, monitor cost against targets, and provide input into change control procedures.
Key responsibilities will include preparing and agreeing interim valuations, final valuations, final accounts, and sub-contract final accounts, as well as providing contractual advice to management and identifying potential commercial risks.
We are looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor with a degree or similar qualification, successful experience at Quantity Surveyor level, and a full driving license.
About the Role- Deliver a positive commercial outcome for the project(s) with which you have been associated.
- Work closely with the senior Commercial team to ensure timely completion of tasks and deadlines.
- Provide input into change control procedures and identify potential commercial risks.
