About the Team

The Technical Success team at OpenAI is responsible for ensuring the seamless deployment of our AI models and products for developers and enterprises. We act as trusted advisors and thought leaders, ensuring our customers maximize value from our solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Partner Solutions Engineer to join our team and support the growth of our partner network. In this role, you will collaborate closely with partners to ensure they can effectively deploy and integrate our products, including ChatGPT Enterprise and the OpenAI Platform. You will provide technical enablement, guide partners through the implementation of AI solutions, and help them identify high-value use cases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct technical assessments of prospective partners to ensure alignment with OpenAI's strategic goals and their ability to drive technology adoption.
  • Develop and deliver tailored technical enablement programs; provide ongoing support as partners integrate and deploy solutions.
  • Collaborate with partners' sales teams to qualify and close opportunities; offer technical guidance through demos, architectural recommendations, and showcasing the business value of OpenAI solutions.
  • Lead technical support during partners' initial projects to ensure successful implementations; mentor their technical teams towards self-sufficiency in delivering OpenAI-powered solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by addressing complex technical inquiries, ensuring quality of partner-delivered services, and providing product feedback to inform future strategies.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales role, managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
  • Experience working with Global SIs is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of IT security principles and customer requirements for technical B2B SaaS products.
  • Delivered prototypes of Generative AI/traditional ML solutions and have knowledge of network/cloud architecture.
  • Industry experience in programming languages like Python or Javascript and working with REST APIs.
  • Effective presenter and communicator who can translate business and technical topics to all audiences.
