Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician with a focus on Fabric Maintenance. This position is based in a dynamic environment, offering a competitive salary starting from £26,000, commensurate with experience, along with an on-call allowance.
This is a mobile role covering various locations in the region.
This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
Role Requirements:
Qualifications: Candidates should possess at least one of the following:
- NVQ Level 2 or higher, BTEC/City & Guilds, or equivalent.
- Formal apprenticeship or equivalent craft training.
Additional Requirements:
- A valid driving license is essential.
- Comfortable using technology for job logging.
- Availability for on-call duties.
- Experience in the industry is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, as this role requires interaction with various technical disciplines.
Please note that background checks will be conducted for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician with a focus on Fabric Maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and wellbeing policies, relevant technical guidance, and statutory regulations.
- Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed, ensuring operational standards are consistently met.
- Support minor works management activities as required.
- Perform routine repairs or minor works, including joinery, painting, general building maintenance, groundwork, and plumbing.
- Maintain accurate site logbooks at all required premises.
- Assist the Projects/Construction team in delivering minor capital works.
- Conduct suitable risk assessments prior to undertaking tasks and follow relevant work plans.
- This role will also encompass other operational tasks, including basic fabric and electrical duties.
