About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Manager to join our team at Steel City Interactive Ltd. As a Senior Data Manager, you will be responsible for identifying data sources, designing and presenting data sets to meet our business drivers, initiatives, and improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead virtual teams and delegate effectively to subject matter experts to manage and drive improvements, including process changes to meet internal and business milestones.
  • Develop a data solution strategy, architecture, and design to drive deep, impactful learnings by working across data, game design, and research to deliver a story-driven direction based on data.
  • Design and maintain telemetry events for current and future content updates.
  • Partner with data engineering to manage data requirements such as schema requirements and data format to support high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct effective analysis while adhering to version control, documentation, and reproduction.
  • Develop a strong and continuously improving understanding of the game mechanics and telemetry.
Requirements
  • High proficiency with SQL.
  • Familiarity with modern data architectures (AWS, Snowflake, OLAP).
  • Experience using modern data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, PowerBI etc.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in commercial industry, including 3 years in a role collating, processing, presenting, and articulating meaningful solutions and improvements using business data.
  • Games industry experience.
  • High level of competence and experience with technical writing.
