About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Adderley Green, a specialist inpatient neurological rehabilitation and complex care service. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with neurological illnesses, acquired brain and spinal cord injuries to develop and improve their speech and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead group therapeutic sessions to help individuals develop and improve their speech and communication skills.
  • Build one-to-one rapport with service users, encouraging engagement and empowering recovery.
  • Manage a designated caseload, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
  • Contribute to research and audits in the provision of treatments.

Requirements

  • UK HCPC registration.
  • Experience of managing a caseload involving assessment and treatment of dysphagia.
  • Experience of working with families.
  • Evidence of continuing Professional Development.
