We are seeking a highly skilled Production Planning Specialist to join our team at Morrisons. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth production of our products.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Planning Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning process, from raw material procurement to finished goods delivery. Your expertise will be essential in maximizing the end-to-end profit of the manufacturing process.
- Utilize advanced planning tools and data analytics to optimize production planning and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance business efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and growth.
- Participate in the development and implementation of strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
