About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Customer Delivery Driver to join our team at Tesco. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver customer shopping trips with a smile, ensuring that all products are delivered in good condition and that customers are satisfied with their experience.
  • Load and unload vans, ensuring that all products are securely stored and that the van is clean and tidy.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge, ensuring that you are up-to-date with the latest products and services.

Requirements

  • A valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence, with at least 12 months' experience of driving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
