About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at CHfW Theatres. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will be responsible for preparing surgical instruments and equipment, providing support to surgeons and other team members, and ensuring the smooth operation of our theatres.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and ready for use.
- Provide support to surgeons and other team members during operations, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Collaborate with other members of the perioperative team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
- NMC or HPC registration as a nurse or ODP.
- Relevant experience in a theatre or perioperative setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
