About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Principal Internal Auditor to join our team at JOB SWITCH LTD. As a Senior Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and compliance of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute audits to identify areas of risk and non-compliance
  • Conduct fieldwork and gather evidence to support audit findings
  • Draft comprehensive reports detailing audit results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with management to implement audit recommendations and improve internal controls
  • Work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team to achieve audit objectives

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in internal auditing, preferably in a local authority setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to work on-site at various locations, including schools, as part of our audit plan
  • Immediate availability and flexibility to work on a part-time basis, with a minimum of one or two days per week in the office
