Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demolition Supervisor to join our team at Team Support Staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities and operations of our demolition sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Provide daily supervision and motivation to site operatives and labourers to ensure efficient and safe working practices.
  • Workload Planning: Supervise and plan workload and permits to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety procedures, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure a safe working environment on demolition sites.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete all necessary site paperwork, including daily reports, toolbox talks, and site diaries.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with clients as required to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and submit regular reports to management, including daily and weekly activity briefings.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification is required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in demolition site management and supervision.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct site operatives.

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary contract position, with a contract length of 12 months. The expected hours of work are 55-60 hours per week, with a competitive hourly rate of £21.00.
