Job Title: SEN Cover Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Cover Teacher to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a SEN Cover Teacher, you will work on a flexible basis, covering a range of roles from day-to-day to long-term and temp-to-perm placements, depending on the needs of the educators and schools we serve.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN, including general SEN, SEMH needs, and complex needs.
  • Occasionally planning will be required.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching pupils with SEN is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS check registered on the update service (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).
  • Drivers are encouraged to apply, but this is not essential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
